Turkish Clothing Industry Association (TGSD) Board of Directors visited İstanbul Textile and Raw Material Exporter’s Union (İTHİB) Chairman Ahmet Öksüz on 28 April 2021. İTHİB Board of Directors members Mustafa Denizer and Ali Sami Aydın were in the meeting.
Ahmet Öksüz who congratulated Sanem Dikmen and Ramazan Kaya, the new period chairmen of TGSD that has been in the sector since 1976 announced that they believe İTHİB will improve the brand image of the sector with TGSD and they will be happy to work together. TGSD Management with around 400 members highlighted that sustainability gained great importance in the sector. Accordingly, the chairmen highlighted the importance of coordination and collaboration between the organizations more than ever. The chairmen announced the need to work together to increase the global share of the sector in high-quality and sustainable way.
